1. Planning

The Planning Services Division of the Community Development Department is charged with the administration of ordinances and policies related to zoning land use and development within the City.  the division reviews and processes development plans for compliance with zoning and subdividiosn regulations and conditional use permits.

2. Building

The Building & Safety Division, also located in the Community Development Department, reviews construction planns for any site improvement or for interior/exterior imporvements to buildings, issues building permits, and conducts inspections.

3. City of Upland Fire Department

Some building improvements and development projects may require review of plans by the Fire Department.  Check with the City of Upland Bulidng Division to determine if your plans require Fire review.  If advised by the Building Division tha tyour project requires a Fire review, you should contact the Fire Department to confirm the review and requirements for the review. 

4. Business License

Once Planning and Building have signed your Business License Application, you may return it to the Finance Department for payment and processing.
